What is kombucha anyways? That strange mushroom-like thing that floats in liquid ontop of my grandmothers fridge?

Come find out what kombucha (and other bacterial cultures) is all about – and take home your very own SCOBY-‘Pet’ hosted in the one and only and oh-so-lovely Gordon’s Cafe in Schillerkiez.

This event is INTERACTIVE and INFORMATIVE. Through taste, touch, sight, smell and discussion we will explore the fascinating microbiological processes that turn simple tea into something so much more.

There will be a PROBIOTIC SNACK AND SODA BAR, plus a DIY KOMBUCHA Station – to start your own kombucha.
