In an anti-bacterial age, fermentation is quickly becoming a lost art. We are here to reclaim it as an energy efficient food-preservation technique which is rooted in our cultural histories. We are captivated and inspired by the way fermented foods engage our senses and enhance whole food eating..

This event is interactive and informative. Through taste, touch, sight, smell and discussion we will explore the fascinating microbiological processes that turn fruits and flavourings into naturally effervescent and probiotic beverages, such as kombucha, water kefir and ginger beer to name a few.

There will be a probiotic snack and soda bar, plus a DIY Soda Station so you can take home your very own soda pop made with ingredients from the farm and continue the fizz!

Enjoy having tasty treats in your belly, and a head full of knowledge.

 

As a stop on our microbial circus tour this event will feature footage from our bubble & fizz cinema, microbial freak show, probiotic flavour powders and never-ending-soda-pop.
