WORKSHOP – Fermenting vegetables
In this workshop we will talk about everything PROBIOTICS and fermentation. We will introduce to you the importance of your own micro-biome by introducing fermented foods, traditional and cultural uses, nutrition and the microbiology behind their creation. We will also discuss resources as well as tips and safety tricks of this culinary art form. We will have an open discussion to what fermentation has or has NOT been in our lives.
We will talk about the effects, benefits and long term effects of probiotic foods, as well as the cultural uses and stories regarding fermentation We will be creating our own personal fermented vegetables with guidance and also absolute freedom, as fermented foods are always incredibly unique!
Everyone should come with a curious appetite and open mind and leave with a jar of delicious, custom made vegetable kraut that one can observe during the weeks ahead.
