Jun is a fermented sweet tea drink similar to kombucha that originated in Eurasia over 2000 years ago, and spread across the world.

Jun is made with green tea and honey in comparison to kombucha (which is traditionally brewed with black tea and sugar). You simply brew a strong, sweetened with honey green tea, then add the starter (the SCOBY – Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast).

The bacteria and yeasts in the SCOBY eat the honey sugars during the fermentation process and produce carbon dioxide and many beneficial bacterias (probiotics!).

Details of flavor, acidity, and even color are open to the individual brewer’s creativity and tea quality.

The finished drink is full of probiotics, promoting good health to ones immune system, digestive system and over all wellbeing. Not to mention it tastes great!
